Our Journey
The Word of God church officially started in the year 2013 Feb 24th in Basel Switzerland, by Ps.Uthayashankar Piyadasa and his wife Rebecca Uthayashankar.
In the year 2013 Feb 10th by the fervent leading of the holy spirit Ps.Shankar and His wife Rebecca obeyed to the word of God and started a small prayer group in a small Room, and the first gathering was about 14. members, God blessed the humble beginning, and by the grace of God, The group increased in number and they moved to a new location and by the immense presence of God and the continuous guidance of the holy spirit, people of the church were blessed and their lives were transformed and they were not just Believers or members of the congregation, they became the carriers of their testimony, and rapidly the church grew and many lives were touched, healed, and built for the glory of God.
